Ko Panekire te maunga, ko Waikaremoana te awa, ko Waimako te marae, ko Ngati Ruapani te hapu, ko Tuhoe te iwi.
Neuton is currently in his final year of a LLB/BA majoring in Maori Studies and bides his time between whanau, martial arts, and his studies. For 3 years Neuton has been a mentor for high school students in South Auckland where he was involved with the Equal Justice Project researching Human Rights in 2011, and is a former Tumuaki for Te Rakau Ture, the Maori Law Students society of Auckland University.
In 2011 Neuton was the winner of the Gina Rudland Award for Maori mooting from the University of Auckland, thereby allowing him to compete in the National Maori Moot finals of the same year. He hopes to be involved in criminal/civil litigation upon graduating, as well as being an advocate for Maori issues.
