‘Wāhine Māori in the Law: Observations from the Bench’
On 17 of February 2016, a full wāhine Māori bench will be presiding a Māori Appellate Court (MAC) sitting in Rotorua. This is the first time in history that an appeal court has had a full wāhine Māori bench and we are delighted to invite you to ‘Wāhine Māori in the Law: Observations from the Bench’, an event to celebrate this monumental occasion.
Deputy Chief Judge Fox, Judge Milroy and Judge Reeves will share their journeys, observations and reflections on being wāhine Māori in the legal profession.
